ARE WE READY TO TEAR IT UP?!?! The roads in/around Gatlinburg are an absolute blast to drive! Remember though, with all the twists and elevation changes, be sure to have your vehicle maintenance done.
Brake Check
Suspension Check
Fluid Check
Running a turbo? AFR CHECK!!!
(Take note from Boost3’s elevation change motor blow!)
Also remember to drive safe and be respectful of other drivers as well as any local laws. Lets have a safe and fun time! Only 140 or so days!!!
So everyone set that as a favorite in your GPS units
We are all very excited already and wish we could fast forward to EPIC4 already but there is still a lot of planning to do. Feel free to donate time, money, food, or anything you have to offer over at the EECMM forums.
EPIC4 will take place in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, TN area in June of 2010. We havn’t nailed down a date yet until we can confirm some lodging/car show locations.
This year should be amazing as last year’s meet really upped the anty! Hopefully we can pull in a lot more mid-northerners and maybe even get some of the central states to join in! We had members from St. Louis MO, Boston MA, Daytona FL and Some tiny ass town Wisconson (where do you live Brian? lol)
This year will feature the usual meet and greet, BBQ, and car show as always but we hope to throw in some new activities like we did last year with some epic cruising, white water rafting… who knows what we can find this year!
A full list of things to do can be found hereand be sure to jump on the forumsto see what else is being planned!
The expected date for EPIC4 will be June 5-7 or June 12-14. This seemed to be the most effective date for everyone this past year so we would like to stick to it.
Please get on the forums and post up your suggestions for next year’s location. Front runners right now look like Virginia Beach and Washington DC with Robbinsville a second time right along with them.
Also, please get any links to photos/albums posted up so we can collect all the photos.
On a down note. We had a great member total his car this past weekend… Remi – RamosDominicanos – was on his way home in his custom boosted Winning Blue hatch when things got topsy turvy on him…
Please also post up your photos on your local forums and help spread the word about the EPICness that was EECMM 2009. Great times everyone! Can’t wait to see you all next year!
I don’t know if it is even possible to try and out do what was the 2009 Epic East Coast Mazda Meet. It has been said that the meet was so EPIC it reached “GodLike” standards… So many memories. So many awesome moments! Thank you all who helped, attended, and supported EECMM2009!
Epic4 will be the fourth installment in the series and we are currently planning out it’s location. Suggestions are being taken over at the forums so get on there and let your voice be heard!
If you were unable to attend EECMM 2009… First off we missed you! Second off… you missed the greatest time of your life. No joke. No doubt. It honestly was fantastic! Even having a few members wreck/blow motors/get rather sick and do some rather embarrassing things… They all still say it’s the greatest meet they’ve ever been to. If you want to see what the fuss is all about check out the photos and videos over on the forum.
